How it usually works

Today’s cash exists in one person’s head

Three bank tabs open, an “accounts payable” spreadsheet and the due-date notebook — matched line by line.

Every month-end the result is rebuilt in Excel, and it never ties out with the bank statement.

With the module

One screen for the day, and the result coming out on its own

  • Receivables open already filtered
  • Batch settlement requires the account code
  • The bank statement closes the loop
  • The result is a consequence
What finance does here

Every day

  • Receive and pay, settling bills one at a time or in batches
  • Accounts payable with three urgency levels, color-coding the row
  • A simulation of what an overdue bill is worth today, with interest and late fee
  • Statement per bank with a running balance line by line

With the bank

  • Bill renegotiated into new installments that add up to the original
  • Account codes applied in bulk from the accountant’s spreadsheet
  • “Paid” and “written off” as two separate actions, on purpose
  • Reconciliation of the bank statement and the credit card bill, reading the PDF

At closing

  • Month-by-month income statement, as an account tree
  • Management version on a cash or accrual basis
  • Your own chart of accounts, with cost centers and allocation
  • Forecast of what comes in and goes out, day by day, with projected balance

FAQ

Type your question and press Enter: the answer opens right below, in the list.

If I mark something paid by mistake, can I undo it?

Yes: the reopen button sends the bill back to open, and every change is logged with who made it, when, and what changed — the amount before and the amount after.

What about a bill the customer renegotiated?

It becomes “renegotiated” and is split into new installments that add up to the original down to the cent. A renegotiated bill can’t be paid off or deleted by mistake, not even in a batch.

Do I have to type the account code into thousands of bills?

No. The accountant’s spreadsheet is applied in bulk, with a preview before you confirm.

Does settling a bill touch my cash?

It depends on what you mean: “paid” posts to the bank statement, “written off” closes the bill with no bank movement. They are two different actions on purpose.

My income statement opened with all zeros.

It’s almost always the chart-of-accounts mapping left blank, or the closing stuck in an old year. It’s configuration, and we sort it out together during implementation.

Does this replace my accounting?

No. The income statement here is a management tool — it’s for making decisions. The books stay with your accountant, and there is a reconciliation to match their trial balance with the system.
